Sergey Kislov, Chairman, Yug Rusi

Sergey Kislov, born 7 December 1960, transformed Yug Rusi into one of the top ten largest Russian exporters of grain and a leader in vegetable oil production (over 30% of Russian market). He grew the company with just one employee in 1992 to over 14,000 employees today. The vertically-integrated company has one of Europe's largest oil processing plants in Rostov-on-Don and its “Zolotaya Semechka” oil is one of the leading vegetable oil brands. Yug Rusi is credited as having wages that are above the industry average as well as being the best tax payer in 2005/2006. The company promotes a policy of care for youth as well as veterans and is actively involved in charitable activities aimed at helping orphanages and the education of youth. For his various contributions to the industry, Kislov has been awarded various state, government and public awards including: Order of Honour, Medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland Class I and II; Golden Medal of French Industry Support Association; Chevalier de l'Ordre du Merite Agricole (2001); Officier de l'Ordre du Merite Agricole (2006).
