Satvinder Singh, Assistant CEO, International Enterprise Singapore
Satvinder Singh was appointed Assistant Chief Executive Officer of International Enterprise (IE) Singapore with effect from 1 November 2013. He oversees IE Singapore's Trade Promotion Group, Trade Services and Policy Group, Customer Services Group, and International Operations (Americas Group and Europe Group).
He first joined IE Singapore (then known as the Trade Development Board) in 1995 and in almost 20 years with the organisation, has contributed across a spectrum of functions, from international trade promotion, industry development (in the Finance, Education, Healthcare, Hospitality and Exhibitions sectors) to capability development and organisational excellence. From 2006 to 2010, he was stationed in New York as IE's Regional Director for the Americas. Prior to his current position, he was Group Director for Trade Promotion and oversaw a team which fostered the growth of Singapore's offshore commodities trading cluster. The cluster generates an annual offshore trading volume of more than US$1 trillion and contributes an estimated 5% to Singapore's GDP.
Singh also sits on SPRING's Board of Directors and is a member of Nanyang Business School's Nanyang MBA Industry Advisory Council.
